Workers' Compensation Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Workers' Compensation Assistant to support our Risk Management team in the administration and coordination of workers' compensation and auto claims. This role will focus on gathering information, submitting claims, and working closely with internal teams, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient management and timely resolution of claims.
**Responsibilities**
+ Claims Submission: Submit workers' compensation and auto claims to the insurance carrier using online systems. Ensure all required information is accurately entered to initiate claims.
+ Claims Status Monitoring: Assist management in tracking and monitoring the status of workers' compensation and auto claims, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
+ Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with insurance adjusters, business operations teams, and shared services departments to facilitate the timely flow of claim-related information. Support in ensuring that all necessary data is available for review and decision-making.
+ Electronic Filing System Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic filing systems for claims and related documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
+ Document Preparation and Editing: Prepare, edit, and organize documents, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed for management and other departments.
+ Assistance with Reporting: Assist in the preparation of claims reports, summaries, and presentations for management, highlighting trends, status, and any potential issues requiring attention.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma.
+ 2+ years of experience working in corporate or professional services environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in a risk management, claims, or insurance-related environment.
+ Strong organizational skills and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
+ Familiarity with workers' compensation and auto insurance claims processes is a plus.
+ High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
