Description Robert Half is collaborating with a distinguished law firm offering an opportunity for a Workers' Compensation Attorney at their Chicago office. The firm's core areas include Workers' Compensation Defense, Civil Litigation Defense, Insurance Law, and Employment Law, providing a challenging yet rewarding environment for legal professionals. Responsibilities: + Independently take charge of a load consisting of numerous cases related to workers' compensation, overseeing them from inception to conclusion + Cooperatively work with other lawyers on various legal tasks + Represent clients in a multitude of litigation claims + Frequently carry out court attendances, maneuver depositions and trials + Maintain effective communication with clients and regularly update them on case status Requirements Qualifications: + JD from an accredited law school + Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois + Proficiency in handling workers' compensation cases in Illinois + Outstanding abilities in written and verbal communication + A developed client base is considered an added advantage + Possession of Indiana Bar License is desirable, but not mandatory This is a full-time direct hire position offering a competitive base salary (plus bonuses) and a comprehensive benefits package.
