Workers Compensation Representative Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Workers Compensation Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will: + Set up and enter new claims into the claim management system, ensuring accurate claim coding and proper documentation. + Perform critical claim technical tasks, including plant investigations and 3-point contacts. + Interview claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel, and witnesses to prepare thorough investigation summaries. + Prepare files for outside counsel. + Assist in managing all elements of claim files to reduce or maintain medical costs, lost time duration, and litigation expenses. + Participate in case management meetings and collaborate with medical, human resources, and labor teams to facilitate return-to-work plans for workers compensation and related absences. + Support other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims as necessary. + Process medical and related expense payments. Skills & Qualifications: + Basic knowledge of workers compensation. + Ability to interpret and analyze complex information. + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment. + Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities. + Flexible work schedule availability. + Maintain professional client relationships. + 1-3 years of related office/administrative experience (workers compensation experience is a plus but not required). + Quality claims handling and loss cost management skills.
