Workflow Developer - Hybrid

The Workflow Developer will be supporting and developing solutions and documentation for processes built within our Business Process Management (BPM) application and related integrations. You will be responsible for maintaining existing workflows, creating new ones, interacting with customers, and managing and maintaining the tool itself. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a wide range of projects. 

  

The position requires experience with JavaScript to build forms within each workflow, as well as SQL queries and REST API calls.  

  

Job Responsibilities:  

Software Development: 

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. Utilize cloud platforms for application deployment, management, and scaling. Design and map processes by reviewing SOPs and creating detailed process flows. Design, develop, and implement complex workflows using low code/no code platforms Explore and implement generative AI technologies. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies. 

Business Process Management (BPM): 

Analyze and optimize business processes using BPM applications. Design and map processes by reviewing SOPs and creating detailed process workflows and forms using Integrify and JavaScript and SQL. Utilize BPMN to model, optimize, and document business processes. Automate processes and integrate systems across the enterprise. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for workflow-related issues. Define customer acceptance criteria and present solutions confidently. 

System Integration: 

Integrate various systems to ensure seamless data flow. Develop integrations using JavaScript, .NET, T-SQL, PowerShell, etc. Apply SOA design principles and integration design patterns. Produce integration documentation and test plans. 

Collaboration and Support: 

Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements to deliver IT Solutions. Partner with business users to drive best practices. Work with the Information Security team to ensure security standards. Partner with clients and stakeholders to design, ideate, wireframe, and prototype features and experiences. 

Operations and Maintenance (O&M): 

Participate in O&M activities to ensure system reliability and performance. Advocate for change control, Agile processes, and release management. 

Required Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2+ years of professional IT experience. (additional years of experience may be substituted for each year of education) 2+ years of experience in software development using languages such as JavaScript, SQL, Rest APIs, Python, and/or C#. 2+ years of experience in advanced workflow solutions and integrations. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience writing advanced PowerShell scripts.  Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies. Familiarity with BPM tools and techniques (experience not required, but a willingness to learn is essential). Knowledge of integration frameworks and APIs. Understanding of generative AI concepts and applications. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Cloud). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Experience in developing workflows using low code/no code platforms such as Pega, Appian, Power Automate. (Integrify is preferred) Experience in designing and developing forms/screens. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$88,817.00 - $150,989.00
