Summary: Seeking a proactive Workforce Development Director with a solid grasp of industry needs and effective communication skills to shape our talent pipeline and drive workforce initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Deep understanding of workforce development practices, systems, and program design
Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to evaluate and research training options creatively
Solid grasp of relevant industries
Bachelor's degree in management, Human Resources, or related field
2 years of experience as a Training Manager/Facilitator or in a similar role focusing on learning and development in the industrial trade sector
Willingness to travel for work
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of registered apprenticeships
Experience in developing industrial training programs
Job Responsibilities:
Cultivate positive, long-term relationships with educational institutions, industry influencers, and community stakeholders
Develop outreach and engagement strategies that align with evolving industry needs
Lead on workforce development projects including coordinating activities and marketing training initiatives
Seek out additional funding opportunities for groundbreaking workforce solutions and programs.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
