Position Description:
Manage workforce development programs for regional and local business unit projects.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Manage execution of workforce (people) development programs based on local social conditions and economic requirements, aligned with project, client, and/or business unit objectives.
- Lead specific Workforce Development plan as part of project pursuit and implement as part of preconstruction phase.
- Oversee program goals and measures, communication/planning activities, status/results reporting, training, and other functions as required.
- Contribute to Business Development sales pursuit meetings and pre-construction meetings to identify roles, responsibilities, and secure workforce development program support from project team.
- Manage relationships with subcontractor community for greater buy-in of workforce development plan and effective placement of participants in local project.
- Manage outreach efforts with diverse populations and other underrepresented groups to participate in skills-based career training and gain hands-on work experience in construction industry.
- Enhance partnerships with local/regional community organizations, schools, pre-apprenticeship programs, unions, and city, state and Federal agencies for proactive identification of training opportunities.
- Leverage local community organization relationships to create and sustain pipeline for project.
- In partnership with project team, monitor program participation and progress to goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop information about workforce development programs and promote to external community.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
