Job Summary:
This training academy will provide exposure to various areas of community based mental health including In-home therapy, In-home Behavioral Support and Intensive Care Coordination outpatient services with a with a primary focus on Therapeutic Mentoring and Family Partner Support. The position requires a strong desire to assist individuals and families in need, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Join the mental health field as a Therapeutic Mentor or Family Partner Work with caregiver(s) and youth in their homes and community Navigate and document in an electronic medical record Access and track insurance authorizations Work with a network of treatment providers To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director and/or Program Director.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age + 4 week program - 1x a week (Monday) Minimum High school diploma or equivalent Driver’s License required Bilingual Preferred (Spanish/English)
