Workforce Development Training Program Manager
Essex North Shore is seeking a Workforce Development Training Program Manager to assist in the facilitation of Night Hawks programming. This person works under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director of Workforce Development. Bilingual prefered. This is a grant funded position with no guarantee that it will continue past the 2025/2026 school year. Workforce Development Training Program Manager QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of Communications or related field. Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with cross-functional teams. Three to five years of experience is preferred. Proven track record of delivering successful programs on time and within budget. Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with Facilitation of NightHawks Adult Education Program Recruitment Interviewing Presenting Programs Processing applications Qualifying applicants Reviewing applications and collecting documentation Assisting with the CORI processing of all applicants Assist with recordkeeping for all programs Maintaining student attendance Maintaining student certification completions Entering information into Commonwealth Corporation database Apricot Initial application, follow up/employment verification Maintaining Courses in Training Pro Assisting with the facilitation of stipend programs as they are available Develop and maintain relationships with program instructors, participants and MassHire representatives Attending meetings and workshops Creating and assisting with presentations Assisting participants with opportunities for employment engagement activities Collaborate with Career Skills Coach Consultant Company Tours Employer Meet and Greets Assist with resume and career portfolios Assisting with participant issues as they arise Collaborating with Workforce Development Team Assisting with development and implementation of NightHawks Post Secondary Open House at Essex Tech Assisting with NightHawks information sessions for sending district high schools Assisting with advertising and media information for promotion of NightHawks Programs Assisting with the development and distribution of promotional materials Assisting with employer tours/panel presentations Other duties as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director or designee. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35 hours per week, salaried, exempt. The nature of this position requires hours beyond the regular school day. It is expected that the person filling this position will give priority to completing the necessary tasks and set hours accordingly.
