Workforce Insights & Analytics Partner

Introduction to role

At AstraZeneca, the Workforce Insights & Analytics Team is part of the Global Business Services function within the Global Analytics Team. We support the HR function by providing both partnering services and project delivery. In this role, you will be aligned with specific Business Units (e.g., R&D) and collaborate closely with HR leaders and HR Business Partners.

You will provide in-depth analysis on key issues, support analytics across key HR processes (such as Succession Planning & Engagement Surveys), and promote our analytical products. Additionally, you will act as a key 'translator' between the HR customer group and technical teams (Data Engineers, Developers) within Global Business Services and IT, ensuring high-quality product delivery that meets customer requirements.

Accountabilities

This position is an excellent opportunity for an analytical thinker with experience working with HR data and strong stakeholder management skills. The role offers a mix of business partnering, project management, technical leadership, and the delivery of high-quality global analytical products to ensure data and analytics drive workforce decisions.

Essential Skills/Experience

Prior HR Analytics experienceAn analytical thinker with a strong ability to manipulate and interpret complex HR dataStrong business acumen and experience presenting data in a consumable and visually impactful way to senior stakeholdersExperience leading projects delivering analytical solutions and managing cross-functional teamsStrong customer-facing skills with the ability to act as a translator between technical teams and the HR customer groupKnowledge of data science/advanced analytics techniques, comfortable engaging with Data Engineers and Data Scientists during project workAdheres to privacy and governance standards whilst using personal dataHighly Competent Excel SkillsIntermediate level of PowerBI5 plus years experience

Desirable Skills/Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
