The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of todays and tomorrow’s power grid!

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workforce Transformation Lead for our team in the Business Transformation Office. This role involves developing a holistic Workforce Transformation strategy, spearheading programs aimed at defining the future needs for enhancing the skills and competencies of our employees, to develop our workforce of the today and the tomorrow in alignment with our organization's values and strategic objectives. This is a hybrid position based in Wendell, NC.

You’ll make an impact as you:

Oversee the development and execution of strategic workforce programs and initiatives aimed at defining the future need of roles, skills and capabilities to enable our people development. Analyze data, trends and demographics and connect with business goals to enable workforce decisions for the short, mid and long term Use your project management skills to ensure that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Develop and deliver scalable workforce development structures, programs, modules, workshops, and seminars aimed at developing new hires, as well as providing existing staff upskilling opportunities. Foster business excellence by ensuring our workforce is trained to market standards and is fully aware of emerging trends and techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their training needs and design custom solutions. Bring the organization along with Change Management efforts Advise senior management on strategic decisions related to workforce development and identify opportunities for improvement. Work in a highly matrixed organization and environment, partnering with the business and our Workforce Development leads in Germany and the US as well as our P&O (People & Organization) team. Strengthen our partnerships with universities and technical schools to ensure access to a pipeline of well-educated talent. Identify opportunities to integrate AI and other advanced technologies to enhance training effectiveness and operational efficiency. Assess current digitalization needs and tools and leading initiatives to train and develop the workforce in these areas.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher. 5+ years in project management and execution. 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering workshops, training programs, and seminars. Ability to travel up to 25%. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree. PMP or equivalent certification. Familiarity with current tools, methods, and technologies, including AI and digital transformation trends. Experience working in Engineering or Technology environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and manage a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Agile, adoptive, collaborative team player

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
