MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's required. Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or similar course of study preferred.
Experience: 3 years of workplace violence prevention experience including the investigation, intervention, and case management of situations involving threatening, aggressive, or violent behaviors required. 3 years of experience developing a workplace violence prevention program with a multi-disciplinary team in a large complex healthcare setting preferred. 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience developing and providing training on workplace violence prevention topics preferred. Specialized training, certification, and experience de-escalating verbal and physically assaultive patients and patient visitors preferred. Specialized training, certification, and experience in behavioral threat assessment and management preferred.
Licensure: Licensed mental health professional or Registered Nurse preferred.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of a computer and phone.
