Job Description
We are looking for an **Automotive Sensors AI/ML Model Development working student** to join our dynamic & innovative “winning Team” on the exciting journey to become leader on the fast-growing market of Automotive Sensing. You will be located in Munich, Germany.

As a member of our growing team, your mission will be to develop and optimize AI/ML models for the dimensioning of impedance sensor elements and their interaction with our flagship impedance sensing IC. Working closely with our design experts and product management team, you will play a key role in defining these systems at a granular level, ensuring our cutting-edge solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
**This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI/ML and automotive sensor technologies, working on innovative projects that push the boundaries of what's possible,**
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to understand system requirements and implement AI/ML-driven solutions for impedance sensor technology.
+ Develop and optimize AI/ML models for the dimensioning and simulation of impedance sensors, ensuring scalability and efficiency while reducing development effort.
+ Validate and test AI/ML models, working closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data for performance improvements.
+ Document the entire AI/ML development process, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, fine-tuning, and deployment, ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
Qualifications
**Experience and skills required:** Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML).
+ Demonstrated experience or strong interest in AI/ML, particularly in the context of sensor technology or similar applications.
+ Familiarity with data analysis and model testing/validation techniques.
+ Basic understanding of TinyML and microcontrollers is a plus.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills in English. Knowledge of German or other languages would be beneficial.
