In order to support the Future Navigation Programs department, Airbus, Defence and Space is looking for a

Working student (d/f/m) on 5G Positioning Testbeds

Your tasks and responsibilities

Research on navigation concepts and algorithms for OFDM positioning systems.

Development of algorithms and test procedures for 5G positioning using Python and C++.

Experiments using software-defined radio (SDR) on existing 5G NR commercial and private networks.

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Engineering, Navigation or similar field of study.

You  have  a  solid  understanding  of  the  principles  of  navigation  receivers  and  a  strong interest in signal processing and/or navigation.

You are familiar with software-defined radio and have experience with signal processing of field recordings.

You are comfortable in programming languages for developing algorithms and  techniques (Python/C++) targeting real-time operations.

You are fluent in English.

You  are  a  good  team  player,  have  excellent  communication  skills,  and  are  able  to  work independently.
