Your Profile:

You are making good progress with your studies and are looking for more than just a part-time job. You want to start exploring the job market and are seeking an inspiring and challenging work environment with plenty of opportunities! You enjoy working in a team and are eager to learn. Challenges do not scare you, and you enjoy thinking outside the box with ease.

You are pursuing a higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) degree in the field of engineering, such as Mechatronics, (Industrial) Automation, Software, Electronics, or similar. You are available for at least 8-16 hours per week in the coming months. You are proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. You are interested in industrial automation (PLC programming, SCADA systems, industrial networks). Experience with Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, and SIMATIC S7 programming languages (FBD, SCL) are a bonus.

Responsibilities:

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment during your study:

Actively participate in the development of automation solutions for harbor cranes. Regularly follow, document, and report the progress of development. Support various development and innovation topics to improve our PLC software architecture using TIA Portal and external software tooling, such as AI generation. Research new possibilities, design and test software solutions, and improve the integration of various systems such as automation and subsystem software, S7 PLCs, HMI systems, interfaces, drive systems, and sensor systems.

You will shift between these responsibilities depending on your interests.
