And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts. **Summary of the Position** In this role, the position holder will ensure that: + The Engineering department is technically and organizationally supported in various projects. + Subprojects for the improvement of existing and acquisition of new machines, facilities, and buildings are independently handled in terms of quality, cost, and schedule. **Essential Tasks and Responsibilities** + Technical and organizational support of the Engineering department + Handling subprojects for improving existing and acquiring new machines, facilities, and buildings + Participation in the creation and monitoring of planned budgets + Preparation of cost plans for machines and operational maintenance + Preparation of documentation for existing and planned facilities + Support on the topic of Lean + Creation of reports, analyses, evaluations, plans, and overviews **Education** + Ongoing studies in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering or a similar field **Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** + Good technical understanding + Initial experience with Lean is desirable + Very good German and English skills, spoken and written + Good communication skills, sociable, friendly demeanor + Organizational talent and planning ability West embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
