Siemens Financial Services (SFS) team is looking for a Working Student Data Solutions & Digital Transformation Projects to support SFS in its transformation journey towards an innovative, user friendly and cost-efficient cloud data landscape.
What part will you play?
You will work within the Data Excellence & Strategy Team in the headquarters, supporting a SFS wide program while having multiple interfaces to the business units, functions and SFS IT to ensure their needs are reflected.
You support the enablement of SFS to design, implement and monitor data products according to the Siemens wide Data Governance Framework and Data Mesh Principles Helping with the implementation of dashboards to improve the transparency on meta data qualities of data products is one of your tasks You support the automation of Data Product Documentation and Workflows to publish and update data products documented in a Collibra Data Catalogue You assist with the Product Teams and Data Domains in managing their artifacts in the Collibra Data Catalogue Last but not least: You support the Demonstrate initiative and get involved in adapting state of the art technologies and tools around data analytics and data governanceUse your skills to move the world forward.
You are successfully studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar You gained first experience with software development and engineering principles, with programming skills-preferably in Python or R Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI beneficial You understand data modeling and database design concepts You have knowledge using RESTful APIs to interact with web services and integrate external data sources You are familiar with software engineering best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies You stand out due to your motivation and enthusiasm for data, technologies and change You can drive topics in a structured and independent manner You like to collaborate with various teams, being involved with a variety of challenges that you want to learn about and support in a service-oriented wayMake your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
