Job DescriptionDuring your assignment, you will assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of automation pilot projects, including robotics, automated material feeding and pre-production process optimization.You will assist in the analysis of automation levels and development potential of available manufacturing technology processes.You will conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies in process automation.Furthermore, you will also help to create and update technical documentation, process standards, and best practices for automation, digitalization and control loops.You will support the definition of specifications for MAE (Machines, Automation & Equipment) and tooling.You will support cross-functional collaboration between R&D teams, production plants,  suppliers and solutions partners.Last but not least, you will assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and ensuring adherence to design for automation principles.

QualificationsEducation: studies in the field of Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics EngineeringExperience and Knowledge: in Production or R&D, in MS Office and in Power BIPersonality and Working Practice: you are a results-oriented, communicative and interpersonal person with a proactive and dynamic attitude, who is able to work independently and as part of a teamEnthusiasm: willingness to learn, to take on new challenges, to think out of the box and to work in a cross-site project team environment; interest in industrial environments; curiosity about new technological trendsLanguages: business fluent in English; German is a plus

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
