We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) in Treasury, based in Munich.
 
Your Team 
The treasury team within Allianz Commercial ensures that an effective and efficient cash management infrastructure and suitable credit support facilities are in place for the world-wide business of Allianz Commercial. This comprises (i) developing and maintaining suitable payment and collection routes, bank account structures and cash concentration mechanisms, (ii) forecasting the liquidity and credit support needs of all entities in various currencies and (iii) managing a large portfolio of letters of credit. We work in close cooperation with Operations, IT and investment management.

 

The Impact You Will Have 
Reporting to the Head of Global Treasury, you will have the chance to strengthen treasury operations by ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting. You will also drive process optimization, administer the treasury SharePoint site, and assist in migrating to a new treasury system, all aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities include:

Conduct quarterly invoice control for letter of credits Prepare and perform the monthly foreign trade reporting Support maintenance of outstanding letter of credits Execute monthly and quarterly treasury reporting, such as liquidity reporting for external and internal stakeholders, reporting of payment volumes, bank fees Further development and administration of the treasury SharePoint site Support the optimization/automation of reoccurring processes Support the treasury team in migrating to a new treasury system

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Currently enrolled in university, ideally studying Finance, Business Administration, or IT with solid credentials Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, pragmatic, and result-orientated approach Sound communication and presentation skills Competent in MS Office (in particularly Excel); SharePoint, Power BI and Power Automate knowledge is a plus Excellent English language skills (verbal and written), German language is beneficial Ability to work constructively and harmoniously in a team to achieve common goals  As well as an independent and engaged working style

Duration: 12 months  Working hours: 20 hours/week  Starting date: 1 March 2025 Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
