WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a Working Student to support our Industrial Goods Practice Area with a focus on the iron and steel industry. You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
Your areas of responsibility will include: Support the development of analytical tools for BCG’s steel teamCreate, enhance, and maintain databases for technical and financial benchmarkingDevelop and maintain analytical models and tools in Excel, Alteryx, and TableauExplore ways to automate information research (e.g., through GenAI)Assist Knowledge and Consulting Teams in strategic research and analysis tasks
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Working in an independent and structured wayCollaborating in an international environmentCreatively researching, analyzing, and synthesizing information
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies Interest in analyzing technical & competitive information along various dimensionsStrong analytical and organizational skillsProficient written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCreative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter
