What you'll do

 

Motivated students to assist in the development of an innovative Generative AI Multi-Agent system in the context of SAP BTP Cloud Infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a multi-cultural team and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge AI technologies.

 

Your tasks: 

Develop, implement, and optimize Python code such as AI tools, API clients, utility libraries, and scripts for automated processes. Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify, diagnose, and fix issues in the codebase to improve system performance and reliability. Explore and implement new tools, frameworks, and techniques relevant to Generative AI and multi-agent systems, such as LangChain and LangGraph. Document code, processes, and learnings to support team knowledge and future development efforts. Testing AI agents, including their behaviors and interactions within the system. Explore Generative AI Concepts: Work on tasks related to prompting strategies, agent understanding, and other Generative AI methodologies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Proficiency in Python: Solid experience with Python for development, debugging, and implementation. Git & GitHub: Ability to manage version control and collaborate on code using Git and GitHub. English Proficiency: Comfortable working in English within a diverse, multi-cultural team.

 

Key Soft Skills:

Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills with a knack for overcoming technical challenges. Reverse Engineering Skills: Ability to dive into and understand existing codebases quickly and effectively. Eagerness to Learn: Curiosity and willingness to explore new tools, techniques, and frameworks.

 

Nice-to-Have (Bonus) Skills:

These are not mandatory skills, but they provide insight into the technology you will be working with. Generative AI Knowledge: Familiarity with concepts and frameworks in Generative AI. Prompting & Agent Understanding LangChain & LangGraph: Understanding or hands-on experience with these frameworks for AI agent development.

Meet your team

At ABAP Platform Cloud Infrastructure, we are engineering the SAP Business Technology Platform ABAP Environment a.k.a. Steampunk meaning we are exposing the ABAP Server as a Service through SAP BTP to expand the reach of our time-proven runtime and development stack into the cloud era. We are currently moving from VMs to Kubernetes to leverage container technology and economics of scale. We are committed to opt-in to a Kubernetes native target architecture. Sitting on the Hyper Scalers we manage infrastructure as code with no exception. With SAP Gardener at our disposal, we blaze a uniform way to configure K8s clusters across Hyper Scalers. We are searching for an outstanding team player who is passionate about cloud native principles and architecture both from the consumer side and the platform engineering side. You will be part of a diverse team of highly motivated and skilled people who are dedicated to build a fundamental piece of the SAP BTP. This means you will experience first-hand how the heavy lifting engineering work is done under the covers of the Steampunk PaaS offering. You will be part of a complete development lifecycle from sketching ideas to experiencing the product our team builds during operations.

 

We stick to the principles of Scrum. Teams decide how they architecture and implement things. We attend each other's sprint reviews to stay well informed across Scrum Teams. We leverage retrospectives and unfiltered communication for continuous optimization.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
