About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Product Security team. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including incident response, vulnerability research, and process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT):Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to Harman products.Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response procedures.Vulnerability Analysis and Research:Conduct research on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.Analyze security advisories and vulnerability reports.Assist in the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of Harman products.Process Review, Automation, and Improvement:Identify opportunities to automate and improve security processes.Assist in the development and implementation of security controls.Threat Analysis:Conduct threat analysis relevant to Harman products and the automotive industry.Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and attack vectors.

Qualifications:

Required:Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains (internet protocols and services, web technologies).Knowledge of vulnerability management principles and best practices.Proficiency in log analysis techniques.Basic understanding of DevSecOps principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Preferred:Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.Experience with cyber threat analysis and intelligence.Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.Enrolled in a relevant academic program (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity).
