REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good knowledge of building cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment; good knowledge of the principles involved in the use of mechanized cleaning equipment; working knowledge of building, grounds, and recreational area maintenance and repair techniques and practices; some knowledge of the repair and preventive maintenance of standard mechanized cleaning equipment; skill in the use of hand and power tools; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to operate a motor vehicle and small motorized vehicles; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; ability to plan tasks in logical sequence; mechanical aptitude; initiative and resourcefulness; dependability; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
