What this job involves:

The Workplace Ambassador strengthens the sense of community at JLL offices, by helping the workplace team facilitate togetherness, making operating in a JLL office space simple and easy, positively linking people and solutions, whilst undertaking all of this in a receptive, fun, approachable and responsive way.

JLL is currently reshaping our workplace property service delivery and this role plays a key part in supporting the operational team on the account to deliver services that provide leading edge facilities and workplace services that align to JLL’s “The Future of Work” methodology.

The Workplace Ambassador is responsible for key elements of the Sydney JLL Campus operation. You will be a vital member of the team connecting internal and external stakeholders together and support engagement, as well as improvement in facilities management and the delivery of client-centric service excellence to end users.

Key activities the Workplace Ambassador is required to assist with include:

Client/Stakeholder SupportProvide superior customer service to meet both internal and external client expectationsSome reception dutiesGreet visitors to the office and assist with notifying their hostProcurement & Vendor SupportAssist in the management of contractors onsite to ensure they perform to the required standards (including inspection of vendors’ works)Assist in the procurement of vendors and services as requiredFinance SupportAssist in financial processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate mannerHealth & SafetyConduct regular audits to ensure safety procedures are being complied withAssist in carrying out safety procedures when neededSite Operations taskingMeeting Room CoordinationConsumables OrderGeneral Site CleanlinessEscorting Clients/ContractorsRisk ManagementAssist in the property risk management programTake on a role as first aider and/or emergency wardenParticipate in the disaster recovery and business continuity plans as requiredFollow established escalation procedures and incident reporting proceduresEnsure visitors are signed in for compliance trackingAdhere to JLL’s business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures, and strategiesProject Management & Organisation SkillsCapacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectivelyAnalytical, proven ability to solve problems using a quantitative approachProven ability to employ holistic approaches and looks at long term solutionsAchieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targetsOther tasks consistent with the role of Workplace Ambassador

Ideal Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property management, hospitality, hotel management or high-end corporate concierge. They will have strong administrative, communication and problem-solving skills, a proven experience with continuous improvement initiatives and client reporting. Must present a professional and friendly corporate image to clients. Have the ability to stay calm when presented with multiple priorities. Some knowledge of occupational safety requirements will be advantageous. If this sounds like you then you might be the best fit for this job.
