Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Workplace Operations Coordinator to be the first point of contact in an Arcadis office for Arcadians and our guests. The role supports the delivery of the Workplace Promise & User Experience Standards through provision of high-quality front of house & workplace operations services to the designated office/s. 

Workplace Operations Co-ordinators play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the office environment are effective and efficient and that they are regarded by users as highly professional workplaces managed to best practice standards.

Key Interfaces: 

Arcadis colleagues & guests Workplace Operations Senior & Principal Coordinators / Workplace Operations Specialist and Local Workplace Operations team  Enabling services such as Procurement, Technology, Finance, ESG, SHEQ Supplier administrative personnel

This will be in an office role at Arcadis Edmonton office. 

 

Role accountabilities:

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: 

The Workplace Operations Coordinator role is a key customer facing role delivering  high-quality workplace operations support and ensuring this is delivered in line with User Experience Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.

The role encompasses delivery of a wide-range of day-to-day workplace operations / facilities management activities supporting the workplace team in delivering an exceptional workplace experience with high levels of user satisfaction.

Delivering highly professional front of house services including reception, concierge, housekeeping, event management and enquiry management. Workplace operations support for the designated workplace/s and wider workplace team, in line with applicable standards and operating procedures. Utilizing and supporting booking systems, meeting rooms and AV facilities.  Workplace administration activities including office supplies, welcome packs / office guides, workplace inductions. Issue tracking, resolution & escalation.  Financial admin including PO management & recording spend against budget. Proactive communications ensuring ease of use of the workplace and status of  workplace issues and resolution.  Interfacing with enabling functions & suppliers to ensure the workplace operates to the highest standards and for issue resolution.  Support development, innovation, and improvement as part of the wider workplace team.. Support compliance activities including H&S, quality, sustainability & security tasks & requirements, relevant legislation, codes of practice and Arcadis standards.   Supporting and coordinating emergency and crisis response requirements including first aid and fire warden roles.  Support other sites in their workplace operations as required

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Knowledge

Knowledge of FM/Workplace matters and practices gained by sufficient experience working in a similar environment

Skills and Experience

Fluency in written and spoken English (as well as local country language) is essential Excellent communication skills  Ability to work with moderate supervision as part of a wider team Excellent customer service skills A do-er and a problem solver Use of general IT systems and those used in the delivery of Workplace services

The salary range for this position is CAD 40,000 - 50,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.     #LI_VS1
