We seek a proactive individual who understands organizational needs, takes initiative, follows through with tasks, and possesses a natural flair for problem-solving. A people person at heart, you are adaptable and a self-starter.WHAT YOU'LL DOEnsuring a proper and efficient functioning officeCommunication with the building porter/manager, external service providers, and couriers on various issues such as fire safety, compliance, cleaning, maintenance tasks, etc.Administrative duties including general office operations and vendor management.Management of incoming and outgoing correspondence.Maintaining office equipment and office furniture.Routine supplies and consumable ordering and inventory control.Collaborate with the internal team to manage costs related to the office.Collaborate on projects and process development, as it relates to the Workplace Experience, with other members of  internal teams such as IT, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition.Administrative support for employees, facilitating their daily work:Assist with local and remote onboarding/off-boarding of employees in conjunction with the People Operations Team.Partner with IT on device distribution and inventory for internal employees and external partners as necessary.Be the on-the-ground expert for local knowledge and current affairs in your city.Support in organizing company meetings and events such as in-office lunch and Happy Hours.WHO YOU ARE1-3 years of office operations experience.Ready for work from the office 4x week. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written communication skills Microsoft Excel savvy and great with spreadsheetsAbility to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships. Focus on looking for solutions, not adversities. Self-starter and motivated to drive projects from scratch. Experience in procurement is a plus.Prior experience in scaling startup offices will be highly advantageous.$20 - $25 an hourBase pay is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
