A “Day in the Life" of a Workplace Experience Coordinator:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment, ensuring kitchen and common areas are tidy and well-stocked (including monitoring inventory, managing expired food, and keeping coffee machines in good condition).Assist with meeting and event setup, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all attendees, including arranging catering and other logistical needs.Handle various office requests, including building maintenance, security access, and any ad hoc needs to ensure smooth office operations.Provide general administrative support, including data entry, mail coordination, and handling courier requests with high attention to detail.Greet and assist all visitors (clients, vendors, and employees) with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.Answer incoming calls and redirect them to the appropriate contacts with ease.Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and materials.Oversee office tidiness, ensuring all areas are welcoming and well-maintained.Monitor inventory levels for office and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed.Ensure the kitchen and common areas are fully stocked and equipped, including ordering supplies and keeping everything clean and organized.Assist with invoicing based on business needs and performance (as required).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 1 year of corporate administrative experience required, ideally in a fast-paced office environment.Business Administration diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience. Prior experience in a corporate office setting is highly preferred.Energetic, personable, and able to create a positive atmosphere, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced office environment.Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Office 365, and general office technology.Ability to work autonomously, multi-task, and manage deadlines with a calm, professional demeanor.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage in friendly and professional correspondence with all levels of leadership within the organization.Join us and become part of "Team Green" at GFL Environmental, where your skills and dedication will be valued and rewarded.
