Workplace Experience Design Consultant

What you'll do The Workplace Experience function is a strategic capability within the Learning & Organizational Effectiveness team. It is a Center of Excellence for the future of work and supports Docusign globally through the design and operation of offices globally. We work to reduce complexity across functions, deliver new business capabilities and fundamentally improve employee experience. As a consultant in Workplace & Experiences design you will have a direct impact on Docusign’s employee experience by optimizing and transforming the physical workplace. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Workplace Experience. Responsibility Lead workplace design inclusive of space, experience and service design to support our evolved approach to hybrid work Own strategic occupancy and capacity planning to enable near term objectives and drive long term location strategy and planning Apply activity based work planning principles along with other workplace spatial modalities to workplace design standards; be responsible for the ongoing evolution of these standards Develop employee personas and work style profiles to inform capacity, experience and design requirements Leverage design thinking and experience design methods to research, concept, pilot and scale new workplace solutions and services Consult new office build outs and renovations Develop scalable workplace change management programs, methods and tools Develop C-Suite executive presentations and communications that effectively explain a narrative, concept and strategy to build internal alignment Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 12+ years of experience in workplace design and construction, workplace strategy, and Activity Based Work/Hybrid programs Master's degree or equivalent experience in architecture Experience with design thinking and user centered design methods to leverage data and insights to drive workplace experience innovation Extensive experience in leading complex, cross functional initiatives using program management tools and methods Experience developing strategies, programs and concepts from small scale pilots to enterprise scale Preferred Ability to build strategic business relationships with key organization partners to drive business unit goals A natural ability to influence, communicate, and build alignment across all levels of the organization; including creating compelling visual and written communications Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate meetings, lead team events and meetings, and communicate effectively with senior leadership PMP, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certifications Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
