Workplace Manager, London Office

The Red Hat Global Workplace Solutions team is looking for a Workplace Manager in London, United Kingdom. This person will be working within a regional team of facility operations professionals supporting sites across EMEA. This position requires a highly motivated, independent, experience-focused individual who adapts well to frequent change. In order to be successful, an individual needs excellent time and task management skills in a fast-paced corporate environment with the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and peers

What will you do:

Responsible for driving office services and programs. Implement GWS initiatives. 

Responsible for office communications, space utilization auditing, and management. 

Identifies trends, patterns, and relationships in data analytics. 

This role requires creative problem-solving for office stakeholders and business units. 

Day-to-day office management activities will include event planning, meeting support, some local vendor management, company productivity tool utilization, phone support, visitor management, logistics, ticket management, office space presentability, and presence. 

May be responsible for supporting local finance tracking, budgeting, and invoice processing, if needed.

Regional program team support may be required. 

Partnership as needed for real estate, construction projects, and other GWS support. May drive local results in collaboration with these teams.

What will you bring:

5+ years of successful experience in a similar role; workplace, facilities, program, and/or project management experience is a plus 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Established ability to go above and beyond customer expectations.

Accomplished organizational skills, focusing on resource coordination, time management, & physical organization. 

Proficient in managing relationships and expectations across competing needs and priorities.

Successful in taking quick independent action to capitalize on opportunities, midgate complications, and add value.

Proven track record of executing successful projects using project/program management techniques and methods.

Motivated with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in handling multiple priorities with the capability to efficiently handle changing needs.

Accomplished in objectively analyzing situations and problem identification in order to efficiently resolve issues.

Proven ability to stay flexible when faced with changing conditions, while identifying opportunities to create new solutions.
