The Role
As part of the Global Enterprise Operations organization, the successful individual will play a pivotal role in the APAC Workplace, leading the workplace teams across Singapore and Indonesia. This team is focused on providing an efficient, safe, amazing, inspiring, and consistent experience for our colleagues, visitors, and partners. The role will encompass all our streaming, gaming, and (non-studio) production workplaces.
The main responsibilities of the Workplace team are to create an excellent and best-in-class Workplace environment and experience to enable our Netflix employees to do the best work of their lives and to help drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be a thought leader who’s highly adaptable, proactive, and resourceful in leading a diverse team in delivering a stunning Workplace experience for our employees and visitors in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an ambitious person who can grow and lead a successful, efficient, and high-performing Workplace team. This role requires a strategic individual with a crazy focus on excellence and a high growth mindset, and will report to the Director, Regional Workplace (APAC).
Responsibilities:
Align and lead Workplace strategy with the Global Enterprise Operations team, and regional and functional stakeholders to deliver strategic Workplace programs and priorities
Led and managed Workplace team (including vendor partners) in Singapore and Indonesia
Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver a stunning Workplace experience for Netflix employees and visitors
Lead Workplace communications for Singapore and Indonesia
Manage the landlord relationships for our Singapore and Indonesia offices
Led and planned office expansion, relocation, restack, and densification projects
Work with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and vendors to deliver to Netflix standards, including capital projects, hospitality, facilities, security, maintenance, shipping, space administration, janitorial, food and beverage program, environmental health and safety, sustainability, and onsite events
Budget planning, cost optimization, and risk management
Qualifications:
7-10 years in a similar role and capacity
Strong leadership and people-management experience
Proven track record of leading a diverse vendor team
Strong business acumen, understanding of complex concepts and projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience with Workplace Services (Front and Back of House)
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, think out of the box, and produce innovative solutions
Strong knowledge of local Workplace requirements and regulations
Good understanding of Employee Health and Safety (EHS)
Ability to work with ambiguous requirements, take smart risks, and make good judgment calls
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
