Kforce has a client that is seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Services Engineer in Valencia, CA. Summary: This role will involve deploying software, managing updates, conducting security assessments, and ensuring the overall health and security of our IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and securing IT infrastructure, with expertise in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Qualys. Key Responsibilities: * Software Deployment and Management: Utilize SCCM to deploy software, updates, and patches across the organization's network, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and compliant with security standards * System Configuration and Management: Configure and manage SCCM to maintain and optimize the performance of IT systems, including workstations, servers, and mobile devices * Security Assessments: Conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments using Qualys to identify and address potential threats and vulnerabilities * Patch Management: Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure all systems are protected against known vulnerabilities * Incident Response: Respond to and resolve IT incidents and security breaches, working closely with the IT team to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, configurations, and security assessments; Generate reports on system performance and security status for management review * Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IT team members to support various IT projects and initiatives; Provide technical guidance and support to end-users as needed
