Workplace Technology Senior Program Manager
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee the transition and transformation of a global service desk operations and end-user support managed services agreement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex transitions that require significant change management, including frequent executive updates. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving a global service desk transition and transformation. **Job Title: Senior Program Manager** **Location:** Remote, ideally resides in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota **Pay Range:** $75-95/hour depending on experience This role is open to W2 or C2C **What’s the Job?** + Lead and manage the end-to-end transition and transformation of managed global service desk operations, focusing on end user support and field support services, in addition to application support + Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery. + Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. + Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. + Lead daily and weekly governance and steering committee meetings + Liaison between the current vendor, new vendor and client + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in service desk operations and project management. + Use of the established PMO standards to manage projects + Collaborate with the end user experience team to deliver the highest quality end user experience + Partner with the communications team to create end user change management plan to ensure seamless transition for end users **What’s Needed?** + 15+ years of experience in a lead or senior program role with at least 5 years of global experience. + Proven experience in managing global service desk transitions and transformations, specifically transitioning from current vendors to new vendors. + Experience with global operations and process improvement + Strong knowledge of end user support services, including laptops, telephony, Microsoft 365, and other end user services. + Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
