Major Responsibilities:
Partner with the Enterprise WPVM Program Director and Enterprise Director of Public Safety Education to develop and execute WPVM education strategy and tactics.
Oversee the implementation and ongoing sustainability of vendor and in-house de-escalation training programs. Ensure fidelity to vendor de-escalation program(s).
Develop and execute tactics to foster ongoing learning and development related to de-escalation skills, including scheduled learning opportunities, resource distribution, and site visits as needed.
Ensure an adequate number of certified de-escalation training instructors within each market.
Develop and implement a tracking mechanism to ensure that teammates have received assigned initial and refresher de-escalation trainings.
Become a certified de-escalation training instructor. Serve as a ‘master instructor’, acting as a mentor, advisor, and source of support for instructors.
Assist sites, leaders, and teammates in developing and maintaining a consistent debriefing process to foster learning opportunities presented through crisis situations that occur.
Support teammates needing guidance to effectively apply de-escalation skills to crisis situations.
Collaborate with Trauma-Informed Services team, Simulation teams and others for additional training opportunities.
Continuously assesses the effectiveness of training and opportunities for improvement. Utilize data to identify areas that may have additional de-escalation training needs.
Participate in Enterprise and Market Workplace Violence Mitigation Council initiatives to ensure alignment.
Serve as liaison to de-escalation training vendor(s). Provide feedback to vendor(s) and participate in the development and/or revision of vendor offerings based on organizational needs.
Manage de-escalation training budget. Submit de-escalation training vendor invoices for payment and ensure de-escalation training costs do not exceed budgeted amount. Work with sites to ensure they include appropriate de-escalation training costs in their budgets.

Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience Required:
3+ years program management experience
3+ years of experience in teammate development or adult instruction
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Strong training and facilitation skills.
Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a focus on delivery of key program objectives with the ability to work through the challenges associated with large complex programs.
Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to concisely communicate with key leaders.
Ability to think strategically, synthesize disparate sources of information into specific insights or recommendations, and overall have a strategic mindset.
Ability to establish excellent collaborative working relationships and strategic partnering with individuals and teams at various levels and from various fields of expertise to achieve a shared vision, values, and objectives.
Ability to recognize issues / risks, escalate as appropriate, identify alternatives, and collaborate on issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. In addition, skilled in database management and education record keeping.
