Works Supervisor

Overview: Under the direction of the Contract Operations Manager, the Works Supervisor ensures effective delivery of contract services and supervises sub-contractor and self-perform works. You'll ensure all works meet or exceed the Client's Maintenance Contract obligations, maintaining service, quality, and contract standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily supervision of sub-contractors and self-perform works. Ensure compliance with contractual arrangements and statutory requirements. Conduct frequent audits to drive continuous improvement. Manage all work types under the Contract – Responsive, Planned & Project works. Provide guidance to client personnel and subcontractors. Maintain high levels of customer service, holding regular customer meetings and providing prompt feedback. Assess and report on subcontractor performance. Prepare monthly reports, analyzing KPI and technical performance.

Qualifications:

Technical expertise and trade training in a building-related profession.

Experience Required:

Technical and commercial competencies in domestic building. Extensive experience in the domestic building industry. Experience in supervision and monitoring of subcontractors. Financial skills for managing high-volume maintenance contracts. Proven ability to prepare reports and maintain data. Full understanding of OH&S regulations and Building Code of Australia. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience with quality systems.
