We provide a popular online knife sharpening service by mail. At Knife Aid, we are combining the traditional trade of knife sharpening with the latest technology and have created a unique and popular online knife sharpening service that is appreciated all over the U.S.
We are looking for someone who has basic computer and comprehension skills to assist the day to day process in the workshop. This position moves with the day, and we need someone who can adapt and adjust to the constant change and still be productive.
This position will be 60-70% of the day in shipping, creating labels, opening and closing knife packs as well as preparing new orders and working on any projects the workshop has going on that day/week. The other 30-40% of the day will be dealing with customer service, customer billing through email, as well as answering yelp, google, and website reviews or questions.
This position is located in our Agoura Hills, California location and is not eligible for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Print shipping labels for the day for both new orders and incoming orders Assist shipping inbound/outbound daily Assist in answering customer service questions through yelp, google, webpage and zendesk. Assist in creating invoices for extra services Assist with any ongoing projects inside or out
Skills & Experience:
Great organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. An interest and willingness to use technology. Great verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience with customer service. Ability to stand for most of the day. Ability to carry and move up to 50 lbs. Must have effective time management. Attention to detail Positive attitude and customer oriented This role is based in our workshop 5 days a week, no remote work.Compensation Range: Up to $17.00/HR Contingent Upon Experience
