The opportunity
The Worksite Sales Assistant Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving and executing the company's Worksite Marketing strategy within the provincial agency channel. This role entails setting and achieving ambitious annual sales targets, measured in terms of annual premium equivalent (APE) and net issued cases, to contribute significantly to the overall Corporate Solutions growth plan. The manager will lead the activation and development of both new and existing financial advisors and leaders, ensuring robust engagement through comprehensive learning sessions, orientation programs, and field activities. Additionally, the manager will spearhead financial wellness presentations for corporate employees and association members, positioning the company as a leader in financial education and solutions.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Target Achievement:
Set and achieve assigned APE targets, individual cases, and activation of advisors/leaders to align with the overall Worksite Marketing objectives.Collaborate with the Worksite Team Lead to achieve sales targets and expand the Worksite business of the company.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met, providing strategic direction and adjustments as necessary.Advisor Activation and Development:
Lead the activation and continuous development of financial advisors through structured learning sessions, workshops, and joint fieldwork activities.Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement among the sales team.Engage existing Group Insurance producers to drive Worksite Marketing sales to their existing clients.Client Engagement and Financial Education:
Oversee the planning and execution of financial wellness seminars tailored for Worksite clients, enhancing the value provided to corporate partners and their employees.Conduct sales presentations to clients for new business opportunities as support to the distributor.Establish strong relationships with the distributors to ensure Worksite business is sustained.Resource Development and Training:
Develop and deliver high-impact PowerPoint presentations and learning materials on topics such as but not limited to Worksite sales strategies, prospecting techniques, effective presentation skills, and online selling.Prepare presentation materials for Worksite trainings, orientations, and financial wellness sessions.Coordinate with Business Development Specialists and Sales Management Teams to conduct Worksite orientation and Financial Wellness Sessions (FWS) training for agencies.Team Management and Collaboration:
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments, including Marketing, to develop effective sales tools and materials for agency and broker channels.Monitor the effectiveness of communication and sales materials used for Worksite initiatives, implementing changes and enhancements as needed.Sales Strategy and Promotions:
Work with Business Development Specialists/Corporate Sales Officers to create action plans that increase the activity and productivity of agencies focused on Worksite Sales and Group Insurance.Develop short and long-term Worksite sales promotions and incentives to drive engagement and sales performance.Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor Worksite Sales performance and prepare relevant production reports.Attend to Worksite-related concerns from distribution channels, ensuring effective resolution and support.
