Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$63,750 - $145,200

Organization Overview:

Tech at Lilly supports operational excellence and productivity efforts through utilization of information and technology.   This includes maximizing and exploiting existing systems at all levels, benchmarking and replicating as much as possible and using data to drive process improvements, productivity & increase efficiency.  

This Dedicated Tech at Lilly position will be part of the LTC-South Tech at Lilly MQ Infrastructure Team. The Tech at Lilly MQ Infrastructure team is purposed to deliver and provides IT support for Manufacturing & Quality hardware, process and building automation equipment installation, end user support, and special project custom applications.

Responsibilities:

Analyze technical requirements for workstation infrastructure.Coordinate with vendors regarding requirements and costs.Develop solutions utilizing automation and generative AI.Install and configure workstations and provide hardware/software support.Manage Manufacturing and Quality Telecom, networking, wireless, and cellular infrastructure.Provide GMP-compliant infrastructure platforms.Train team members on new equipment and software.Troubleshoot issues with Citrix, RealVNC, VDI, Linux, iGel, Windows OS, and Telecom.Consult on infrastructure, compatibility, and configuration issues.Plan hardware and software upgrades.Plan and coordinate telecom upgrades or other projects as neededSupport validation and testing of upgrades.Ensure GMP data integrity in system validations.Create documentation to standarize processesAct as Liaison between the business and local telecom teams to manage projects and task.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborating across MQ sites to streamline and standardize infrastructure solutions for Indianapolis Manufacturing sites.

How You’ll Succeed:

Understand Manufacturing and Quality processes to anticipate IT needs.Work globally to solve complex MQ problems.Define global IT support and delivery processes.Provide technical knowledge and monitor compliance with reference architecture.Collaborate with Enterprise IT Architects to identify innovative technologies.Align with Data Architecture Standards.Work with Cybersecurity to implement Tech@Lilly operating principles.Translate Cyber Security requirements into implementation specs.Act as a technical liaison between IT and Business Partners.Stay updated on trends and opportunities.Mentor global and local team members on technology and design.Assist in executing IT designs with minimal disruptions.Drive value by leveraging new technology.Strong knowledge of telecom, wireless, cellular, and networking infrastructure.Good understanding of GMP requirements.Innovation in Generative AI and Automation.Knowledge of distributed S95 Level 3 solutions and business intelligence.Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple manufacturing sites.Influence others and build key relationships.Self-management and strong communication skills.Broad learning agility and open-mindedness.Technical growth, customer focus, and problem-solving skills.

Basic Requirements/ Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field. 

5+ years of relevant experience.Strong networking and telecom skills.

OR

High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of technical support experience.Proficient in networking architecture, troubleshooting, routers, switches, and telecom.
