We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Wound Care Nurse Manager assists the Director with all department activity to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the hospital. **What you will do in this role:** + Assist in coordinating the department’s participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. + Ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis. + Provide clinical support to the nursing staff. + Participate in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. + Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. + Promote a supportive, team-work oriented environment. + Fulfill departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon. **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred + Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required + Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required within 90 days of hire + Current CWON or CWOCN certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire + 1-3 years of related clinical leadership experience preferred TriStar Horizon Medical Center is an accredited, 150+ bed regional medical center.
