Account Executive – Wound Care & Negative Pressure Therapy Sales

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking driven and experienced Account Executives with a background in wound care or negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) to join our high-performing sales team. As a national leader in home medical equipment and therapies, we’re expanding our footprint—and we need passionate professionals to help us grow our $600 million business.

 

In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with physicians, wound clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies to deliver life-changing solutions that support healing and recovery in the home setting.

What You’ll Do-Essential Job FunctionsConduct face-to-face sales calls with healthcare providers and referral sources.Promote Rotech’s wound care and NPWT solutions, along with respiratory equipment and services.Educate clients on product benefits, patient outcomes, and service capabilities.Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic territory management.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and satisfaction.Who We’re Looking ForProven experience in wound care, NPWT, or medical salesStrong clinical understanding and ability to communicate with healthcare professionalsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and relationship-drivenExcellent communication and presentation skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commissionBonus opportunitiesCar and mileage reimbursementCompany-provided cell phoneComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more

Successful completion of a company-wide background checkDrug screeningA valid driver’s license in your state of residenceEducation & ExperienceA four-year college degree is preferred; however, a combination of education and relevant experience will be consideredExperience in respiratory or medical sales is highly desirableLeadership experience in healthcare or other professional fields is a strong plusSkills & Competencies

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners across a defined territoryCommunicate clearly and professionally in English—both written and verbal—with physicians, patients, and colleaguesDemonstrate a helpful, knowledgeable, and positive attitudeInterpret and respond to a variety of communication formats and instructionsApply knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionUtilize medical terminology effectivelyManage multiple tasks with strong attention to detailStay organized, self-motivated, and solution-orientedWork independently and collaboratively as part of a teamTechnical ProficiencyProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Comfortable with email communication, internet research, and using office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer)Physical & Travel RequirementsAbility to drive and travel regularly via personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided); occasional air travel may be requiredCapable of lifting and moving up to 25 poundsComfortable with extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, talking, and listeningRequires close vision for reading small print on screens and documentsFrequent use of hands for writing, typing, and handling paperworkWork EnvironmentThis role involves a mix of office, warehouse, and field-based workRegular local travel via personal vehicle is required
