Responsibilities:

Apply the Nursing process to create a healing environment. Formulate and communicate patient care plans, involving patients as partners. Address clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual patient issues. Provide follow-up care for patients post-discharge. Use evidence-based practices in patient care. Evaluate and recommend products for cost-effective patient care. Document patient care to ensure clear communication among caregivers. Build and maintain healthy workplace relationships. Prevent and address workplace issues like horizontal violence and impairment. Balance work and personal life through prioritization and delegation. Mentor and support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues. Share research and conduct in-services to promote continuous learning. Identify and implement opportunities for clinical and workplace improvement. Incorporate professional and organizational goals to improve patient outcomes. Create compassionate patient experiences by building healing relationships. Continuously seek feedback and improve professional practices. Serve as a role model and leader in clinical expertise and evidence-based practice. Participate in shared governance and hospital-wide councils.
