Wound Ostomy RN - Wound Clinic - Full-time Reduced (32 hours per week)

Assesses and treats patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions, and provides expert, integrated, cost-effective quality patient care for high-risk patients with complex issues across the continuum of care settings.

Schedule

This position is generally 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, 32 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

Certification in WOC Nursing through an accredited program such as The Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), The National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO), or The America Board of Wound Management (ABWM) (required within 12 months in position).

Certification in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider).

Capable and competent in computer data entry and documentation in an electronic medical record.

Ability to be self-directed and have demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years’ experience as a W.O.N.

Experience in W.O.N billing processes.

Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
