Responsibilities:

Perform personal care for patients and other duties as assigned under the direct supervision and guidance of professional nursing or physician personnel in assigned area.Provides patient care during hyperbaric oxygen therapy and participates in hyperbaric chamber dives.  The delivery of patient care at Kettering Medical Center (KMC) reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and wound care centers.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.Successful completion of KMC nursing assistant trainee program, or successful completion of state testing nursing assistant program (STNA certification), surgical technician or completion of LPN, EMT or EMTP training.Preferred training and experience in wound care management.Current CPR certificationCompletion of annual Corporate Integrity trainingMaintains competencies & skills of specialty area of practice (see unit education files). Preferred Qualifications

Prefer LPN, or EMT, EMTP, with Certification in Hyperbaric Technology

Wound Care experience preferred.
Certification in Hyperbaric Technology preferred.
