WSOP Human Resources Coordinator

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT FROM Jan 2025 TO July 2025.  

This position is support during the hiring process for the 2025 World Series of Poker. Selected candidates will be working out of the Caesars Entertainment Employment Center.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Successful candidates must be able to obtain at their own expense, a Nevada Gaming License upon offer of employment.  The NV Gaming license application fee is $45 plus the cost of professional fingerprinting (typically $63).  Welcomes candidates to the Employment Center at the front counter and demonstrates an upbeat and positive, professional demeanor at all times and provides accurate information and support to applicants. Monitor legal compliance with Caesars Entertainment, federal, state and gaming laws & policies. Maintains confidentiality of all applicant and employee information Responsible for accurately inputting employee and new hire data input to HRIS system. Ensures corrections are posted to the HRIS system within two (2) business days. Routinely ensures that the Employment Center lobby, public areas, and offices are well maintained and clean. Will work with Facilities and IT to address any concerns to ensure the proper working condition of all equipment. Prepares new hire packets, to include rehires, transfers and promotions. Verifies rehire eligibility for previous Caesars Entertainment employees Processes new hire paperwork, checking for accuracy and completeness. Conducts audits on all employment paperwork weekly in a timely manner to ensure compliance. Sends new hire packets to property HR offices in a timely manner. Assist with creating and processing gaming registrations to include appropriate follow-up with candidates who have not completed gaming registration and/or provided payment. Coordinates with other team members and keeps them informed of updates made by the USCIS and Nevada Gaming Control Board Assist with ordering of pre-employment drug tests and report on pre-employment drug testing results. Performs appropriate follow-up action on candidates who have failed or not completed pre-employment drug testing. Reconciles employment database on a daily basis, to include new hire packet submissions, new hire processing and receipt of required work cards/licenses. Facilitates and attends department & mandated training sessions. Develops a knowledge base of information needed to successfully perform the job, and seek ways to expand upon it. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have some if not all of the following

Must be 21 years of age or older. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming License. Must have strong attention to detail Previous experience working with employment documents required. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products.   Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies Computer proficiency in Word and Excel required. Must present a well groomed appearance. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must be willing and able to learn new skills and tasks quickly. Must possess excellent telephone etiquette skills, customer service, organizational and communication skills. Have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be detail oriented and self-motivated
