Job Details:
Major Duties & Responsibility
1. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for complex maintenance procedures.
2. Conduct routine inspections on mechanical systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
3. Lead and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
4. Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment and system specifications.
5. Calibrate mechanical systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in their performance.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for improvement.
7. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root causes of mechanical problems.
9. Execute repairs and replacements of faulty mechanical components, such as motors, bearings, belts, and gears.
10. Adjust and align machinery as needed to meet operational specifications.
11. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
12. Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety among team members.
13. Enforce strict adherence to food safety and quality protocols during maintenance operations.
14. Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge.
15. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
16. Execute major repairs and replacements of mechanical components.
17. Mentor and train technicians 1 & 2.
18. Collaborate with engineering and production teams for process improvement.
19. Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities.
20. Assist in the procurement and organization of replacement parts.
21. Coordinate with external vendors for the procurement of replacement parts when necessary
22. Provide regular reports to the maintenance manager regarding equipment status and maintenance activities.
23. Communicate effectively with management regarding the status of maintenance activities and any potential impact on production schedules.
24. Analyze and optimize equipment downtime, implementing strategies for reducing unplanned interruptions.
WWTP SUPERVISOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To submit reports to do as per requirement for all related data and required for WWTP.
2. To ensure that WWTP equipment is functioning well.
3. To perform advanced troubleshooting and monitor potential failures and may make repairs or adjustments if required.
4. Coordinate with external vendors and cross-department functional.
5. Data collection, analysis, and reporting as required.
6. Management Skill - Plan, manage, and prioritize work orders and electrical issues.
7. Leadership Skill: Supervise and lead a team of WWTP technicians by providing guidance, training,g and support when needed.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant WWTP Codes, regulations and safety standards in the design, installation and maintenance of WWTP operations.
9. 5S: keeping work areas clean and organized.
QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum SKM3 / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Strong technical understanding of basic manufacturing equipment
3. Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills.
4. 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
5. Certified competent person (CP) who had attended the course of CePIETSO-PCP & CePIETSO-BP, completed their field training report and was interviewed by EiMAS.
