Job Description
The Nightlife and Daylife Club Bartender / Marketing Model is responsible for providing superior guest service while interacting and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet, interact, entertain and serve guests courteously with an upbeat attitudeObtain beverage orders from guests in a timely mannerOrganize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence to ensure that order requests are correct and properly presentedHandling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales systemMixing beverages, serving beverages and amenities in all areas of the pool and nightclubGarnish beverages as needed per department standards and recipesKeep bar top, service station and work areas clean and organizedMaintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health StandardsMaintain opening, running and closing service equipment par, product and supply parEnsure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable itemsFollow specific specialty cocktail recipes when dispensing drinksRecognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicatedRefuse further service of alcohol to intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded mannerPrepare and process guest checks and payments by cash, credit card, room charges and all other tender types through POS terminal functionsEnsure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking proceduresEnsure daily/nightly opening and closing duties are completedAdhere to and enforce company specific safety and health department policies/proceduresReport any incidents or violations to managementFollow all designated emergency proceduresAttend required trainingsMarketing and promoting pool and nightclub events both on property and on Social Media platformsMaintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social mediaQualificationsMinimum of 21 years of ageMinimum of 2-3 years work experience in a high-volume beverage or nightclub settingMust be able to communicate in English with guests and other team membersMust be able to work efficiently within a team environmentMust have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sunMust adhere to both company and department specific policies and proceduresAdditional InformationWynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
