Job Summary and Responsibilities Acentra Health is looking for a Provider Educator to join our growing team. Job Summary: As an Acentra Health WY BMS Education Coordinator (Provider Education & Relations Coordinator), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing contractual requirements to foster positive relations and elevate the customer service experience. In addition, you will serve as the key conduit for provider education coordination, WY BMS staff training, driving quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring a thorough understanding of updates to automated review systems. This multifaceted role embodies the essence of excellence in education, driving forward the organization's commitment to exceptional service and continuous improvement. There may be potential travel around 10% for trainings within the State of Wyoming. Responsibilities: Engage in direct communication with the Agency and Acentra Health staff, identifying and addressing significant concerns and offering tailored educational resources or training as needed Develop and recommend training modules, job aids, quick reference guides, Frequently Asked Questions, assessments, and pre- and post-evaluations to enhance educational initiatives Deliver training to Acentra Health staff that support providers, members, and claims processing Upon request, deliver training to Agency staff Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address member and provider inquiries and maintain service quality in alignment with contract requirements Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and information systems Provide call center and claims support, requiring extensive research and resolution skills Regularly review and coordinate with the Communications and Publications Manager to update web content to ensure the provision of current and relevant information Design and implement continuous training programs for staff to ensure proficiency in the latest policies, procedures, and industry best practices, fostering a culture of learning Produce and analyze data and reports to be used in the development of provider education materials Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used by the WY BMS staff Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in training/education Customer service expertise, including at least one year of experience with helpline service programs, supervision of staff, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations for use in training Proficient in creating and delivering educational training courses using web-based or other interactive technology platforms Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex issues and a track record of applying knowledge to process improvement and provider issue resolution initiatives Proven ability to effectively teach and train others through in-person, telephonic, or web-based/interactive technology methods Professional demeanor in all interactions, coupled with excellent public speaking skills and experience in delivering webinars and PowerPoint presentations Proficiency in writing policy and procedure manuals, job aids, newsletters, and website content. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, or a related business field Healthcare background Knowledge and work experience with Medicaid providers and/or members Why us? "Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level."
