The design tools team builds both applications enabling designers to craft specialized assets for Apple SDKs, and Xcode components enabling engineers to integrate those icons, symbols, and colors into their source code. You’ll integrate feedback from customers and Apple’s internal design and engineering teams to improve our applications. You'll represent your team cross functionally, working with colleagues across Apple as we advance our tools and SDKs. You’ll shape our SDKs, and enable innovative new features in applications across our platforms through tools. You’ll be most successful as a self-motivated engineer with initiative and a solution oriented approach. You'll thrives in a supportive, respectful, and balanced work environment with interesting and ambitious problems to tackle. You’ll have constructive design discussions, learn from your team, and use your experience to make sound engineering decisions. In developer tools, you'll have the unique opportunity to directly improve your development environment by building features for the tools you’ll use every day. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
