In this position...
This role will lead implementation of Product Data Model (PDM) insourcing transition plan, integrating PDM into PD digital transformation. This includes staffing, onboarding, people development, work prioritization, process design, software tools, team KPIs, and metric reporting.
The role will manage a team to:
develop process and tool improvements to modernize Ford's digital assets for external consumption deliver external assets in line with program and marketing timing. Bachelor’s and/or Masters Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Management Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing supplier relationships, and working with teams across multiple regions. High-level technical knowledge with the ability to translate into non-technical language and inform tool solution requirements. Familiarity and some knowledge of common tools used for engineering, digital product, visualization, digital asset management, and purchasing used in Ford PD and across Marketing digital content creation PD PLM and CAD Tools: 3DX, Teamcenter, Catia, Enovia, Siemens, Digital Buck, V5/NX, Global Integrator, PDO/PDL Virtual Rendering Tools: VRED, 3DExcite/Dassault/DeltaGen, Pixies, UnReal, Unity, NVIDIA Ford tools: DMR, Aurora/Ariba, GEAR/DAM, MOCM/Order Guide Workflow Knowledge and/or familiarity of Ford business pertaining to product program GPDS, product immersions, prototypes, engineering change management, regional product variations, interrelated PD and Marketing dependencies (specifically <FDJ> through <OKTB>. Some knowledge and ideally some hands-on experience of agile software development Knowledge of Agile Project Management Familiarity with how to use Jira to manage and deliver projects in an agile fashion Understanding of vehicle systems and architecture Growth mind set, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across various regional cultures.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
