Yard Associate Location: Union Way, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM (OT available) Pay Rate: $23.00/hour Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire **Job Overview:** We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Associate for an entry-level position in our yard operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. The Yard Associate will primarily be responsible for pulling and staging orders, operating a forklift, and handling a variety of construction materials. Onsite training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: •Pull and stage materials for customer and internal orders •Operate a forklift to move and organize yard inventory •Handle various materials, including: o Steel and plastic pipe o Channel o Concrete boxes o Cast-iron fittings and pipe •Maintain accurate counts and documentation of materials •Follow written and verbal instructions •Work collaboratively with team members and yard supervisors •Lift and carry materials weighing 50 -70 lbs Qualifications: •Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions •Strong communication and basic counting skills •Ability to follow safety procedures and directions •Forklift experience preferred, but not required – we offer onsite training •Dependable, punctual, and a team player **Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
