Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking a Yard Associate at our Salt Lake City branch. 

 

This position performs an array of functions including:

Safely drive a sitdown forklift to load/unload trucksManually lift and place material onto palettes and forks Ensure customer's orders are pulled and loaded accuratelyMaintain the yard stock in a clean and organized mannerProvide excellent customer service
Work efficiently with the team to ensure branch success

Responsibilities Work outside in all weather conditions
Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipmentsReceive and stock inbound material
Using a computer, complete receiving and work orders accuratelyPull, prepare, and package materials for shipment Rotate yard stock and materials
Maintains clean and safe working environment

Qualifications 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position drivng forklift
Ability to consistently lift and move heavy materials (manually lift up to 60lbs) Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desiredAbility to read, write, and perform basic math functions is required
Must be able to work overtime as neededExperience with building materials a plus
