Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic trucks to deliver for customers? As our Seasonal Casual Yard Hand, you’ll be involved in ensuring our trucks can get out on the road and keep Australia moving! At the heart of Sunshine West, you'll play an important role in maintaining our trucks, schedules and ensuring businesses and customers receive their packages and parcels on time!

 

You’ll be 

Performing general yard duties Assisting with vehicle maintenance and cleaningDriving our modern trucks within the yard to their designated bays - truck sizes range from HR up to MCAvailable to work overtime where availableAvailable full time from October to assist with our peak periodPotential for ongoing permanent employmentDay or Nightshift positions availableEarning a competitive casual rate of $42.65 for day shift and $48.20 for night shift!

 

About you

You’re available to work from October, through our peak periodYou hold a valid HC or MC licenseYou’re safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.

You'll be allocated a regular shift time, and work with a great bunch of peopleA higher rate of pay apply for applicable shifts (penalty rates)You'll benefit from a 12% superannuation rateWe may have opportunities for ongoing work beyond the peak season
